10 Commandments of Surfing

Love them or hate them, we're all better if we follow them.

1. Respect the locals at their spot.
2. Choose your surf spot according to your ability.
3. When paddling out, avoid surfers riding waves and do no ditch your board with other surfers paddling out behind you.
4. Share and take turns. Not every wave is your wave.
5. Don't drop in on other surfers.
6. Help your fellow surfer in trouble.
7. Don't hassle.
8. Don't use your surfing advantage to abuse other surfers.
9. Treat the ocean with respect and keep it clean.
10. Have fun.
