At 7pm this evening it may be a good time to turn off your television, fire up your computer and join hundreds of thousands of surfers worldwide as they log on to the web to watch the world's best surfers risk life and limb at Teahupoo in Tahiti. Ironically, for the past six days the top 45 surfers in the world have been enjoying what most tourists would in the tropical paradise, but that is all expected to change today as a strong WSW swell tracks it way to the South Pacific island paradise.
