The ASP top 45 were stoked to open round one with perfect 4-6ft J-Bay. Taylor Knox stole the show in the first round with an impressive 19.70 giving Parko no chance of avoiding the dreaded round 2. It was Knox's highest heat total of his 15 year, 474 heat ASP World Tour career. Parko will fight it out against Occy hoping to keep his solid start to the year going and gain some ground on Slater. Kelly easily advanced into round 3 and is continuing his inform surfing. The forecast looks good so check out all the action, when the next round is called at 7 am local time.
