Kelly Slater won his third event of the four events this season. He is off to a dominating start, and somehow hasn't decided to make a run at his 9th world title. It would be difficult to throw out his greatest start of his career when he has such a good head start towards his 9th world title. Parko is holding down second place after posting a 5th at the Globe Pro Fiji. Adriano de Souza had his best showing in his young career with a 3rd place for the event and a 4th place in the overall standings. CJ Hobgood jumps up to take hold of 6th place in the WCT standings. So will he show up for the next event? As much success and history he has with J-Bay I don't think he will pass up the opportunity to burry the contenders.
The ASP WCT elite will meet again at Jeffreys Bay July 10-20, 2008.
