Tom Curren Opens Rip Curl Store

Tom Curren opens his own Rip Curl store in his home town of Santa Barbara on State Street. "I was first sponsored by Rip Curl when I was 15 ... I was super pumped," Curren reminisced as he addressed the crowd. "Claw [Rip Curl founder/owner, Doug Warbrik] had come up to meet me, and it's one of those times in your life you always remember. Something special, kind of like here in this store today." I am sure Curren's store will be as stylish as his surfing.
